1. How to Join
Q: Can I sign up to Eat At NZ online?
A: Yes. Simply look for the Sign
Up link on the top right section of the site (between the Log In and Help
links).
Q: Do I have to pay to be on the list?
A: No. As long as your business is food and beverage related you can Sign
Up - FREE. Absolutely FREE - No hidden cost. We will list your basic details
like Business Name, Address, Phone, Fax, Trading
Hours and Other Services offered. Once we've enabled your listing - your
username and password are automatically emailed to you. If you don't have an
email address - please ring 0800 205-466 to get your username and password.
Q. I want more info on my page, how much will it cost
me?
A. You can upgrade your listing for as little as $0.66
or $0.99 a day.
Q. How can I upgrade my listing?
A.
If you are already a registered Member and
want
more details
on your page like logo, website link, photos, description and
menu
- simply login with
your username and password and upgrade your registration.
If you're not a Member yet - you will need to sign
up first and then upgrade.
Q: How can I contact Eat At NZ?
A: You can e-mail Eat At NZ through our contact
section at the top of the left-hand menu (beside the Home link), or call
us
on 0800 205-466.
2. How to Search Q: How do I search for a particular category (example
Italian Restaurant)?
A: On the left navigational menu, first choose a Town/City
(or you can click on the map). But if you're already on any Town/City
then just choose the Category you want (example Restaurant). The
result will tell
you
how many
subcategories
there are and how many restaurants there are for that particular
type.
Q: I am on Taupo's page and want to find an Irish Pub
in Queenstown, how do I do that?
A: You have 2 ways of doing this. One:
you can click on the "Home"
link (top left corner of the site) and choose Queenstown from there
(either from the left navigational menu or click on the
map). OR, Two:
if you're in Taupo's page, simply choose Queenstown on the drop list
below

- then click Go.
Q: How do I search for a particular restaurant?
A: To find your favourite restaurant,
just simply use the 'Search For' on the left
navigational menu. Choose which Category (example: Restaurant) then
type their
name on the "Business Name" box section. If you can't remember
their whole name - simply type the first letter of their Business
Name.
Q: What's the "Search for Menu" for?
A: If you are looking for a particular food or dish (or
beverage) - simply type it in this section and it will display
where you can get it and how much (if specified). It will only
display those who have a menu listed on their page. This "Search
for Menu" will
not display menu from a website link.
Q: How do I use the "Who is open on"?
A: Simply choose the day of the week (example, Sunday) and
then a time (example, 7pm) you are planning to go out. It will display
businesses who are open at that specific time and date.
Q: What can I find on "Advance Search"?
A: It will display businesses who offer any of these services
(one or more): Delivery, Bring your own wine, Conference facilities,
Live music, Out catering, Outdoor dining, Disability access, Accepts
large
booking,
Private function facilities, Wedding Facilities, View of the lake/sea/ocean,
Casual meeting facilities, Children's play area, has Widescreen television,
and No smoking area.

A. While we take reasonable care to ensure that information and
the material on this website is correct, we are not responsible

Q: How often do you update your site?
A: Eat At NZ encourages their Members to update their listing
every month. And twice a year we contact all businesses on the list
to make sure we still have the right details. This is where we
add new businesses or remove those that no longer exist.
Q: Can I copy any information (including photos) listed
on Eat At NZ?
A: All information and materials displayed on this site (including text, graphics,
photographs and the organisation and layout of the site) are the property of
Eat At NZ or its suppliers. For more details on this matter, please read our Terms
and Conditions on Ownership of Information. Q: Does Eat At NZ have a feedback section?
A: Yes. Each Member (except free listing) has their own feedback section
