In each of the townships and villages dotted around the area you'll find some interesting shops. Not surprisingly there's plenty of ski shops to sort out your outdoor and on-mountain requirements. You can't go past local knowledge! Numerous craft and gift shops and galleries offer unique locally produced products and there's always a quiet cafe close by. You won't find big malls but you will get big service.
